Were starting to work on this but need feedback. This is going to become a MAJOR part of Wecora and we want to make sure we do it correctly while also making it super easy for you and your clients to use.
The general idea is this:
You will be able to send individual items or an entire board to anyone for "approval"
Only ONE person will be able to approve an item. Meaning if you sent an item or board to Person A you will not be able to send to Person B (unless Person A does not approve or you retract the approval request). This is so you dont end up with conflicting approvals, meaning you don't have Person A saying APPROVED and Person B saying NOT APPROVED and therefore have no idea what to do.
When you send something for approval, the person will get notified. They will have the ability to review the item and click on APPROVE or DISAPPROVE. If they click DISAPPROVE, they will have the option to include a note explaining why.
You will able to quickly see everything pending approval, approved or disapproved across your entire account as well as per project from the dashboards
Once something is approved by someone, they cannot later disapprove it. The ONLY way to remove the approval will be for you to VOID the approval. This is to ensure a client doesnt approve something, you act on that approval, and then later they try to disapprove it. If they change their mind later, they need to contact and discuss this with you.
Approved and disapproved boards and items will be clearly labeled
One last note, Wecora is not going to take any legal position on what "approval" means - that's between you and your client. The feature will be designed to provide a mechanism to keep a project moving and get decisions made faster, but it's completely up to you how you want to treat an approval with your clients.
Please share your thoughts on the above and if there is anything you like or don't like or want us to consider changing.

An approval button is imperative as it allows clear and concise communication with designer & client. Please add this feature
